I had the pleasure of participating in a 6-week session of mediation classes with Mel Gerard this summer of 2024. I had previously worked with her as a nurse in the hospital. Mel is very caring and patient with a new meditator.
She gave me some great ideas on how to work a few minutes of peace, quiet, and calmness in to my day. She really cares about our well-being. She is gentle and non-judgmental. I highly recommend Mel Gerard.

As a person who had never performed any form of yoga or meditation, once I had my first hour with Mel, I was hooked and continue to be in love with this practice. Mel is a gifted instructor who weaves together the physical, mythical, and spiritual elements of
Yoga into a joyful journey of discovery. She is always looking to add something new or unexpected to her classes to make them feel fresh and inspiring. She encourages students to be mindful of the breath and their abilities and offers many suggestions for expressing different āsanas.
